Good morning everyone. Although my '04 300M didn't originally come with the RB1, it seems like most here really like them so when the opportunity came that I found one in a salvage yard vehicle, I grabbed it. I tested it to the full extent that I could (basically everything except the navigation portion since I had no way to test that) and everything worked great. I used it in my car for 2 weeks but my personal preference is that I actually liked my original radio better (I think a large part is due to how low the radio unit sets in the dash and I didn't like having to look down to see what button I was pushing all the time on the RB1). Since I didn't think I was going to keep it, I sold it on ebay and the buyer agrees that everything works great EXCEPT they are telling me that they are getting a 'Cannot read disc. Check disc and retry' fault. They say they have the disc version AL and they thought that was the latest available version (I have no idea). Any idea what I can tell my buyer to try to get it to read their navigation disc? If need be, I will see if they want a partial refund or have them send it back to me for a full refund but I thought I would see if anyone here had something we could try first so hit me up with anything we could try to get this unit to read their navigation disc, thanks.
